If we build a website for a customer, there is a compulsory £400 buyout clause.

If the website subscription or hosting agreement is cancelled within the first 6 months, all websites, domains, designs, graphics, booking systems, and related assets will remain the property of The Bouncing Diary.

Only once the website has remained actively subscribed and paid for for a minimum period of 6 consecutive months will ownership and transfer rights of the website and domain become available to the customer.

Prior to this 6-month period ending, no domains, website files, designs, systems, or associated digital assets may be transferred, copied, migrated, or claimed by the customer without written permission from The Bouncing Diary and payment of the £400 buyout fee.
